Our Story

Solcito, meaning lovely sunshine in Spanish, represents our commitment to bring hope and warmness to migrant children who do not have access to health care. Healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and we hope to give these children equal access to health care as other children do.

What We Do

  • Partner with More Than Welcome to provide English classes for asylum seeking and refugee children. Typically every Monday and Thursday, but first sign up to be a volunteer to get specific details. Volunteer Form

  • Various fundraising events to support health care organizations​

  • Send mental health pamphlets to schools on the Mexico-United States border.
